Jane White is co-Founder and President & CEO of Granahan Investment Management. As a portfolio manager Jane oversees a portion of the multi-managed Small Cap and SMID-Cap portfolios. Her research has an emphasis in the Technology Sector.
Prior to founding Granahan Investment Management in 1985, Jane worked at Granahan-Everitt Investments as a Technology Research Analyst. She started her investment career at Loomis-Sayles in Boston where she was a Research Assistant. Jane received her B.A. from Boston University and is a member of the CFA Institute and the Boston Security Analysts Society.
Gary Hatton is co-Founder and Chief Investment Officer of Granahan Investment Management. As a portfolio manager, Gary is responsible for the GIM Small Cap Discoveries strategy and a portion of the multi-managed Small Cap and SMID-Cap portfolios. His research expertise is in the Medical and Biotechnology Sectors.
Prior to joining Granahan Investment Management in 1985, Gary was a Healthcare and Industrials Analyst at Eaton Vance Management in Boston. Gary received his MS in Finance from the University of Wisconsin at Madison, and his BS from University of Rhode Island. Gary holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Institute.
Drew Beja is a Partner, Vice President and Portfolio Manager of the GIM Small Cap Focused Growth strategy. He also manages a portion of the Small Cap and SMID-Cap portfolios. Drew joined Granahan Investment Management at the end of 2011 bringing 30 years industry experience to the firm, primarily in the small and SMID cap sector of the market.
From 2000 to 2011, Drew was with Lee Munder Capital Group in Boston, a firm he co-founded and where he managed several small and SMID cap growth equity products. In 2007, he started the Focused Growth product that he continues to manage at Granahan. Prior to Lee Munder, Drew was a portfolio manager with Standish, Ayer & Wood. Before moving to the buy-side, Drew was an equities analyst for Advest. Drew received his BA from Miami University. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Institute and the Boston Security Analysts Society.
David Dineen joined Granahan Investment Management in 2015 as the Portfolio Manager for the GIM International Small Cap strategy and Global Small Cap portfolios. David has specialized in international investing for nearly 25 years, with the last nine years at Pinnacle Associates where he was the Senior Portfolio Manager/Analyst solely responsible for an international small cap strategy, and primarily responsible for portfolio construction of a Global strategy. From 1990 to 2005, David worked with Morgan Stanley Investment Management, where he was the primary portfolio manager of the Morgan Stanley Select Global Fund from 1998-2005. Earlier, David worked as a portfolio manager and equities analyst for international and emerging markets equities.
David received his MBA in Finance and International Business from New York University, and his BS in Finance and Marketing from Binghamton University School of Management. David holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Institute as well as the New York Society of Securities Analysts. He has guest lectured at NYU Stern School of Business and has taught undergraduate finance classes at Seton Hall University’s Stillman School of Business.
Jeff Harrison joined GIM in July 2015 and is a Vice President of the firm. Jeff has over 18 years industry experience specializing in small cap equities, with the last 11 years as a portfolio manager. At GIM, Jeff is a portfolio manager/analyst for the multi-managed Small Cap and SMID-Cap portfolios and also provides research expertise for the Global Small Cap strategy. Jeff has spent much of his career as portfolio manager on a diversified small cap growth equity fund with Wells Capital Management and its predecessor companies in Richmond, VA. Jeff has extensive fundamental research experience across industries with specific expertise in the healthcare and financial services sectors. Jeff received his MBA in Finance from the College of William & Mary, and his BA from Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Institute.
Jennifer Pawloski is a Partner and Vice President of GIM. Jennifer’s research has an emphasis in the Technology sector. She is a portfolio manager for the multi-managed Small Cap and SMID-Cap portfolios and also provides research expertise for the Global Small Cap strategy.. Prior to joining Granahan in 2007, Jennifer was the Director of Equity Research for Longwood Investment Advisors in Boston. Jennifer also worked with the Boston Company as a Vice President. David Rose is a Vice President and Portfolio Manager of the GIM SMID Select Opportunities strategy. He also manages a portion of the multi-managed Small Cap and SMID-Cap portolios. David joined GIM in January 2015 bringing over 17 years industry experience to the firm, including as a portfolio manager for several highly ranked equity funds.
Prior to joining GIM, most recently David was a partner with Furey Research Partners in Boston, where he conducted small cap equity research for use by the firm’s investment manager clients. Prior to his work at Furey Research, David spent much of his career as a portfolio manager with American Century Investments in Kansas City, MO, before moving to Pyramis Global Advisors in Smithfield, RI to manage a new mid-cap fund. David received his MS in Finance from the University of Wisconsin at Madison, and his BS in Business Administration from Washington University in St. Louis, MO. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Institute and the Boston Security Analysts Society.
Sam joined GIM in June 2013 and is a Vice President and Healthcare Analyst. Sam came to GIM with over 20 years of investment experience, primarily in small cap equities and high yield research. In the last ten years, much of Sam’s time has been spent on research in the Healthcare sector. Prior to joining Granahan, Sam was with Mistral Capital Partners, a hedge fund boutique in Boston, where he was a Senior Research Analyst with a focus on Healthcare and Technology. In addition, Sam worked with Lehman Brothers as a Senior Vice President conducting high yield research in the Healthcare and Technology/Media/Telecom industries. Sam also spent several years as a Senior High Yield Research Analyst at both Loomis Sayles & Company and Wellington Management in Boston. Sam received his BA in Accounting and Master’s Degree in Finance from Bentley College, and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst Designation.
Jack Granahan is co-Founder and Chairman of Granahan Investment Management. Jack retired from portfolio management in 2013.
Prior to founding Granahan Investment Management in 1985, Jack had co-founded and subsequently sold Granahan-Everitt Investments, a technology mutual fund. Jack started his career at Wellington Management Company in Boston where he was a Senior Vice President and the Portfolio Manager for both the Morgan Fund and the Explorer Fund. Jack received his BA from St. Joseph College in Philadelphia, and is a Graduate Fellow of Catholic University of America. Jack holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Institute.
